Bassist Wanted

Local Hard Rock/Metal band is seeking a bass player. We currently have 2 guitarists, and a drummer - and will begin searching for a vocalist a little down the line. Our goal is mainly to write songs, have fun, and do shows here locally. Anything else is unexpected, and whatever happens, happens. None of us are amazingly talented or professional musicians, and the songs we are working on have odd time signatures. We arent looking for someone who is an insanely talented bassist - just someone who can lock in with the drummer and give us a good foundation.

We are currently working on 2 original songs, both kind of thrashy in style, as well as looking at a list of cover songs. The only cover weve begun working on is Outshined by Soundgarden - though Loud Love is another possibility from them.

Both guitarists will be playing through fullstacks, and our drummer hits hard - so youre going to need some decent gear if youre interested.

Were all right around 30 years old, and for the most part dont drink or use drugs. A few beers once in awhile is cool. Age isnt a huge factor - but obviously were not looking for a 17 year old bassist. We want someone we can hang out with whos on our level.
